Olympia produces Championship winning MTB’s! As ridden to Championship victory by Daniele Braidot, followed by brother Luca Braidot (7th Rio Olympics!) into 2nd position, both riding Olympia’s. Many mountain bikes are used in competition, fewer make it regularly onto the podium, and less still have a chance at Championship status like Olympia. Olympia were the first Italian manufacturer to produce and race MTB’s, in fact mountain bike competition is such a large part of Olympia’s racing heritage, that they sponsor Italy’s largest MTB race series. Of course Olympia had been designing and manufacturing bicycles a good few decades before the advent of MTB’s, and already held the greatest knowledge of frame design, materials and geometry, which have always kept them one step ahead of the competition. The F1 is Olympia’s latest evolution of race winning hardtail and their most successful model to date. Honed, tuned and toned year on year to create the ultimate racing thoroughbred. The F1’s superlight one-piece Ultra High Modulus carbon chassis has become ever more compact, now featuring a super responsive 70º head-angle, Olympia’s unique ‘Stability Control’ head-tube, longer top-tube & shorter, livelier 430 mm chain-stays for instant acceleration and knife-edge precision handling. The F1 is a bike that dances from corner to corner, leaps up climbs and flies over rocks & exposed roots with minimum effort for maximum reward. Never before have the benefits of 29” wheels been paired with a frame as agile and compact as its 26” forbears. You feel on top of the F1, rather than in it, making changes of direction with the flick of your wrists, rather than the weight of your whole body. Having a bicycle that goes ‘exactly’ where you point it, allows you worry less about the corners and focus all your efforts on speed…lots of speed. The F1 may have been engineered with an unrelenting focus on winning Championships, although that’s not stopped Olympia’s passionate Italian designers creating one of the most exotic, sleek and stylish hardtail chassis ever produced, eclipsed only by the even more exclusive and exotic F1 ‘Limited’ model, each one of the 125 frames individually numbered and painted in a unique titanium chrome finish over matt carbon. The F1 is available in four standard sizes (S / M / L / XL), and offered in a single graphic design available in two optional colour-ways (plus the unique 125th Anniversary paint scheme of the F1 Limited).
