The ‘GT35’ moniker signifies that this beautifully machined work of art is designed specifically to hold oversize ø 35 mm diameter handlebars. Massively stiff yet lightweight, and CNC machined from the highest quality 7075 T6 grain orientated and heat-treated aluminium, with custom-made TiAl6V4 titanium hardware. Just because it’s Tunes most hardcore off-road stem, doesn’t mean it cant be stunning to behold.
Its skeletonised design distributes loads to the strongest areas of the component, while machined apertures at the steerer clamp save weight without affecting strength.
The removable front plate for easy bar / stem removal features a four bolt arrangement, while wasted sides and open centre to the front plate reduce weight and distribute load evenly around the bar. The four titanium front plate bolts screw into blind holes, which are closed to the elements at the threaded end to eliminate the chance failure caused by galvanic corrosion.
