Scapin Shindy

As with all Scapin’s, the Shindy oozes style, soul and passion. A masterpiece of engineering in hydroformed 7005 smooth-welded & heat-treated aluminium (a process pioneered and perfected by Scapin), the technically advanced alloy frame combines the perfect balance of light weight, performance and comfort.

The transition between the deeply sculpted multi-butted tubes is so smooth that you could be forgiven for thinking the frame was molded from carbon, the combination of smooth flowing lines and sharp edges beautifully highlighted in Scapin’s luscious paint work. In fact the paint work alone is more labour intensive than many frames take to manufacture. A truly high end, high performance and high quality road race frame, in a age when the majority of alloy frames are merely less focused, less well engineered and less expensive alternatives to carbon.

The Shindy also features CFS (Comfort Flex System) seat-stays. Scapin frames are renowned for absorbing unwanted shock and vibration, while comfort is a factor missing from most high-performance alloy race frames. CFS stays offer increased lateral stiffness, efficiency and 30% more vertical comfort as well as lower rolling resistance and increased grip due to better tyre contact with the road surface.

The Shindy is available in five standard sizes (XS / S / M / L / XL), and offered in two graphic designs available in three different colour-ways.
